What Causes Feather Like Stool, Severe Abdominal Pain And Cramps?

I have been having small feathery looking pieces of yellow stool for the past 4 days and an abundance of yellow mucus. I also have very bad abdominal pain and cramping. Do you know why this is? I ve also had a lingering pain in my upper right abdomen that worsens most times at nights. I ve been dealing with it for years and feel that it is worsening but the one time an ultrasound was done no gallstone was supposedly found. Does all of this somehow relate?

Hi there.

It appears that you have severe infective diarrhea.

You should keep well hydrated with ORS. If you feel weak you may need intravenous fluids.

Consult your Fibroid and get examined for Typhoid, Inflammatory bowel disease and the like as soon as possible.

Thanking you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
