What could cause feces to smell like nail polish remover? I was diagnosed with Crohn s disease 10 years ago, and due to lack of progress, I m doubling up on Humira to determine if I ve developed antibodies. The acetyl alcohol/nail polish remover was a first (today).

Hello

Yes it might be due to the Chrons disease that is causing malabsorption of fatty acids.

I suggest you to see your doctor to adjust your treatment as it can also lead to deficiency of fat soluble vitamins.
