My mother-in-law, who is 78 years old, has been experiencing daily nausea and wooziness, particularly in the morning for the past month or so. She also has GERD with a hiatal hernia. She recently returned to California after vacationing in Israel for 2 weeks. Since that trip, she has not been feeling well and fainted when she returned. She was taken to the hospital where after a battery of tests, she was diagnosed with severe dehydration. They even did an MRI to see if she was having strokes. All of the tests came back negative. She said she carries all of her stress in her shoulders, not uncommon. She has been to a chiropractor but is now waiting to see her internist. She is a very active women and her feeling like this is extremely unusual for her. Anything she should be concerned with or her doctor should pay close attention to?
