What Causes Feeling Exhausted, Tired And Always Sleepy?
So I ve been feeling exhausted and tired throughout most of my day. I just woke up from a 13-14 hour rest and have also been napping a lot more. My appetite is a bowl of cereal and maybe a snack midday. I ve also had mono in 2010 so maybe it came back? Im not sure though.
I understand your concern especially while it is affecting your daily life. Regarding to your symptoms it seems like you are having chronic fatigue syndome. You mentioned that you had mono four years ago. It’s thought that up to 50% of people infected develop severe fatigue or other symptoms.
There is no proven or reliable cure for CFS, and no drug has been developed specifically for this disorder. Overall, the recommended strategy for treatment includes a combination of the following: A healthy diet, antidepressant drugs (in some cases), usually low-dose tricyclic antidepressants, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and graded exercise (for certain patients), gradual return to modest-intensity excercise.
Visit your GP and discuss with him this potential problem.
I hope this answer was helpful to you.
