What Causes Feeling Of Discomfort And Unclear Throat?

I constantly have a throat discomfort. I feel like there is food particles in the back of my throat that I am trying to swallow down but they never go away. That feeling of stuff in the back of my throat is extremely anoying. There is no pain while swallowing but I do have problems clearing my throat, like there is a frog in my throat. Is this an allergy issue?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
What problems you are facing related to unclear throat might not be caused due to allergy. There might be some pathology in the pharynx like enlarged adenoids or at the beginning of esophagus (food pipe) causing obstruction to the smooth movement during swallowing, leading to accumulation of some food particles causing irritation of throat.
Kindly get yourself examined by ENT surgeon for any obstructive related pathology in the pharynx. Following this you might require upper GI endoscopy to look for lesions about the food pipe.
Accordingly, treatment could be instituted.
