What Causes Feeling Of Lump In Throat Post Oral Sex?
Two days ago I had sex with a new partner, both male, We both performed some oral sex on eachother, then we had sexual intercourse which I used a condom for. Since one day after I have felt like I have had a lump in my throat. I occasionally cough up some whitish phlegm. Its not difficult to swallow and my tonsils don t appear to be swollen. I know that it may be too early to test positive for some STDs so I am trying to wait a week or so to get an STD test. Im 18 years old and this is only my second partner in my life and I am very scared. They do claim to be clean and not have anything though, but they have also had multiple partners. Do you think I may have just caught a cold or should I be worried?
Lump in throat is unlikely to be due to oral sex. You may get yourself tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STD). I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment of the throat to look for cause of lumpiness in throat.
Thanks and take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
