Hello,

Mirena does cause weight gain. You are suggested to do stretch exercises and take healthy nutritious diet and cut down on carbohydrates, sugar, trans fat, oily junk food, animal protein, etc.

Since you are having sensation of some movement, you are suggested to take antacids or omeprazole, one sos when needed to feel better. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined to detect any acid reflux or GERD. Get treated. Get connected to a gynecologist so that USG (Uterus) can be done and presence of fetus can be confirmed.

If the report is negative, you will be treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
