What Causes Feeling Of Obstruction In Throat Post Swallowing Pills?

Before I went to bed last night, I swallowed 2 1/2 pills. One of them lodged in my throat. I tried to drink etc to get it down and just went to bed. I suffered all night with the feeling of the pill being caught in my throat. Every time I rolled over the pain woke me up. I got up several times and drank water, took antacids even because it felt almost like the burning of heart burn. When I woke up, through out the day and still now, I feel like there is something still stuck in my throat. I feel nauseous, have pain between my shoulder blades - like something is stuck in my throat. I m wondering if I ve just serious irritated the esophagus and have pain and swelling as a result? The pills were a spironolactone, and a capsule of antibiotic. Any thoughts?
