What Causes Feeling Of Some Mass In The Middle Of Neck Area?

My nodes are finally gone & I no longer have a problem talking! Sadly, however, I am still complaining about an uncomfortable mass-like feeling in the middle of my left neck area that has not improved or gone away. i have been complaining about this when I had nodes but am still continuing to complain about it even after my nodes are gone. The Ent recommended some more speech therapy for the uncomfortable feeling in my neck, but my talking voice has recovered and speech is fine so i chose not to attend those extra sessions. What would you advise ms to do?
