What Causes Feeling Of Something Between Little Toes?
I have constantly been getting a feeling of something between my little two toes on my left foot. Then sometimes like something is wrapped around my pinky toe. Nothing is ever there though. This has been going on for just over a week. What could it be?
This is abnormal sensation or function of the peripheral nerves. It can cause abnormal sensations to occur. It may be temporary.
The possible causes are: (1)trauma to the area (2)vitamin b 12 or folate deficiency (3)exposure to toxins (4)diabetes (5)liver or kidney disease (6)thyroid disease (7)some autoimmune disease (8)idiopathic- cause not known
You can consider monitoring it for now. If it continues for a prolonged period (2 to 2 weeks ) or worsens then you can visit your doctor for an assessment.
I hope this helps
