You are having a sensation of something in the throat causing choking sensation. Such a symptom commonly occurs due to stress, stress causes formation of stomach acid and hence discomfort or chocking sensation in the throat. You can take PPIs, one SOS when required to relieve your discomfort and choking sensation. Take sips of water throughout the day, avoid stress (emotional and physical), avoid taking oily, spicy, packaged and junk food.
Do not skip meals, take home made nutritious balanced diet and avoid addictions if any. Stay away from sedentary lifestyle, do regular exercise and walking. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT to rule out benign or malignant pathology that could be causing you symptoms. You will be treated accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
