What Causes Feeling Of Vaginal Roughness During Intercourse?

Hi! I have a question about vaginal discharge.. I recently got married a few months ago. Ever since our wedding night intercourse has been painful.. we went to a gynecologist and she told me it was only because I was tight and that it should streach out and become less painful within a few months.. right now it is definetely not the tightness anymore..most times during intercourse it feels like sandpaper in my vagina but we use quite a bit of lube.. when it hurts the most there will be bits of gritty green peices in my. discharge after sex.. it also has a distinct rottenish smell.. What could cause this? Should we be concerned? Also, during intercourse when my husband goes slightly deep often times my abdomen/uterus hurts on either my right or left side. Is that normal? Thanks for your help!

You need to rule out any vaginal infection.

Pain on either side of uterus may be due to movement of ligaments during deeper penetration. But you need a scan to rule out any pelvic infection
