hi. I have recently had my second breast reconstruction for a left sided irradiated breast cancer. I had bilateral implants put in in September of 2016 (5 years after initial diagnosis, lumpectomy, axillary dissection and radiation). I had a second recurrence, mastectomy in November of 2016 and a new implant in April 2017 with a Sientra implant put in on the left side only. Two weeks after I received this implant I started with foot/hand pain. Now I have head fogginess/forgetfulness and other aches and pains. I have been tested for rheumatoid arthritis (by the suggestion of my surgeon) all testing for that was negative. From everything I read, these implants are safe and my plastic surgeon stated he has never removed implants for rejection. Seems very coincidental - any thoughts for me? I am 55, but have never had any of these symptoms and otherwise very healthy.
