What Causes Female Infertility?

Hello , i m trying for a baby from last six months.....but no results...then i consult to doctor she said that i have ovulation problem, my EGGS are not forming-developing...so can u tell me what sholud i have to do? is this a serious problem or it can solve easily or not??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Ovulation problem refers to failure of formation of ovarian follicle, problem in maturation of ovarian follicle and ovum or problem in release of mature ovum.
Common syndrome associated with ovulation is called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
However, relevant investigations are required to ascertain the problem.
A follicular scan will determine whether follicles are being formed and whether ovum is being released or not.
Management can be planned after relevant investigations.
Treatment is available for ovulation defects.
If there is problem in formation of follicles, drugs are available to induce ovum formation.
If PCOS is the problem, treatment is available for this problem also.
Consult your gynaecologist for investigations and further management.
