What Causes Fever After Breast Implant Surgery?

My girlfriend just had breast implant surgery on Tuesday morning. Wednesday morning she woke up with a fever of 104. She went back to the PS he told her to take tylenol. She could only get temp down to 100. She went back this morning and had lab work done after the results he told her to call her family practitioner for tamiflu. her practitioner is comfortable doing that. Wondering whats causing her high temps and wondering if she need to go to the ER?

Hi.

Well according to your doctor who thought she would need tamiflu, she has an influenza virus of some sort. I cannot be sure about which type of influenza this is, but please do speak to her family physician and get her the tamiflu she needs.
