What Causes Fever After Inserting A Stent For 100% Blockage?

39 year old male,I had a mild to moderate heart attack with very little damage. Now I have cardiac pneumonia they caught it in time and treated it. been out of the hospital one day and the fever is going up and back down like a coaster ride. They put one stent in for 100% blockage, what do I do about the fever 99.5 so far and then it will drop to 98.8 in just a few minutes then back up. what should I exspect from all of this?
