General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hello,
Green phlegm is a sign of bacterial infection. Antibiotic therapy will be required. I would suggest antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav thrice daily for seven days or more according to severity. If dyspnea is there, then pneumonia should be ruled out by taking an x-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
