General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomfort

"As" per your history is concerned you should not be worried at all. Do a CBC and check your urine for pus cell. If bacterial infection suspected tell your doctor to add antibiotics and if viral infection then no antibiotics is required. Take anti histamine+cough syrup for 3 -4 days. Do warm saline gargle 3 times per day. Please record body temperature every 6 hours and record it up to 72 hours. Further medications will be added after urine report.Add a multivitamin everyday at bedtime.

Hope that helps
