What Causes Fever Along With Headache And Muscle Pain?
my son is complaining of fever, headache , joint and muscle aches, and lethargic. no nausea or diarrhea, no cold like symptoms. concerned because this has been going on for a couple of days. has times when he feels better, then symptoms come back.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns. these are typical signs of systemic viral infection and most common are flu or respiratory infections however it may be sign of ebstein bar or hepatitis infection for example and it is hard to say exact type without further tests which should include blood tests and rna typisation. At this point you should just take plenty of fluids, vitamin C and reduce fever with paracetamol. In case of progression, you should see infectologist and do tests that I have mentioned. I hope I have answered your query. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
