Hi
After going through your case you have recurrent
urinary tract infections.
It might be due to
1) Inadequate treatment of previous infection.
2)There might be underlying cause for recurrent infection like
Diabetes,
kidney stones, structural defect in urinary tract.
I would like to know more about you
1) Your gender as UTI is more common in female. In males most of the time there is underlying cause for Uru.
2) Any previous illnesses like Diabetes...
I will suggest you to do following investigation
Complete blood count Urine Examination including urine culture and sensitivity
Kidney function test
Blood sugar.
Ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis ( kidney and urinary tract). This will help in detecting any structural defects or kidney stones.
After giving samples for urinary culture you may restart Tab Zifi-o till culture and sensitivity report get available. After that appropriate antibiotics changes can be done.
Correction of underlying cause for UTI ( if detected) is recommended.
Duration of treatment will vary according to the cause, presence of diabetes.
