What Causes Fever Along With Raspy Voice?

For the secon time this year I have had the same thing. I hardly ever get sick tend this may just be a cold. My normal temperature is 97.4 and since last Wednesday I have had a fever of 100.2- 102.9. I also have a raspy cough which ends up giving me a major headache and a sore throat. It is probably just a cold but I want to make sure sinc I have been off from work and I need to go back tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a viral infection.

For this reason, I recommend taking Ibuprofen against inflammation. A cough syrup coupled with an oral antiseptic can also help improve your situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
