What Causes Fever Along With Redness On Face And Ears?
My son has had a stomach bug since Sunday night he was throwing up everything and had a fever Monday around 102.0 and today he is eating and drinking. But still has a fever and now a redness on his face ears and chest should I be concerned about this redness???
The redness could be him being flushed due to the fever he has. His appetite may improve but you should still be careful with what he eats. Avoid spicy, fatty, oily and fried food. Give him a bland liquid or semi-solid diet. If his diarrhea or vomiting (which I am guessing is/was there) cotninues, then he may need antibiotic coverage so please visit a doctor for the same. Keep him well hydrated and give him an oral rehydrating solution to replenish his lost electrolytes.
As for your main concern which is the redness, it should soon subside as he returns to normal.
Best wishes.
