What Causes Fever Along With Severe Headache?

HI, my husband hasn t felt good for the past 8 days and in the last 3 he has been fevered, congested, and horrible headache. He has been congested but it s a creamy white color, and he has had a mild sore throat. His ears are popping a lot. I haven t had a thermometer to take his temperature but his face is bright red and he is chilled. He is 62 years old, in pretty good health so we haven t gone in thinking it could be the flu. Normally they don t do anything for the flu do they? I hate going to the insta-care because of all the sick people there and I don t want him to catch anything else. Can you help

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would advise that you should give him paracetamol 500 for fever and bodyache. He should drink plenty of fluids and take proper rest.
I would suggest that you should get him clinically examined and investigated by your doctor for planning further medical management.
