What Causes Fever Along With Sore Throat And Chronic Cough?
i have had a cold for 4 weeks. original onset was with a fever 100.5 after the first 2 days I haven t had a fever but ive been taking Tylenol a couple times a day. I have a very sore throat, lots of coughing in the last week I have developed swollen or infected taste buds and sores in my mouth. I am extremely tired I can fall asleep at any time including driving and work. also stuffy head and nose and drainage
I would like to tell you that you are suffering from severe upper respiratory tract infection. You should visit a physician as soon as possible as you are required to take an antibiotic course to treat the infection. Your physician may advise you a chest x-ray depending on the auscultatory findings.
Since you have also developed mouth sores, you need to take a vitamin supplement which should include B complex and vitamin C. You can also apply a mouth gel like hexigel for temporary relief from pain. You can apply it before meals to avoid discomfort.
