What Causes Fever And Appetite Loss While On SMZ-TMP DS?

Hi, I have been taking smz-tmp ds 800 for about a week and today I have fever of 100 and feel crappy. No appetite for awhile and a hint of nausea for the whole time. I am taking this after my cancer radiation spot became infected, it does seem to be better. Should I be worried? Jo Ann

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry to know you are going through cancer radiation that got infected. Fever and feeling crappy are due to cancer and radiation therapy.

For the moment, take oral fever pills. If still no improvement, should consult further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
