What Causes Fever And Chills After An Abdominal Injury?
So someone i know hit their abdomen on the tip of the counter and she went to sleep. She awoke the next morning with a slight fever, that has deteriorated to 39.2°C with chills and weakness, and now includes tenderness in her abdomen and a feeling that her heart is racing

Possible hematoma underneath the abdomen skin which is giving pain, tenderness. Chills are secondary to pain and fever.
A raised heart is anxiety related.
