What Causes Fever And Chills While On Bactrim And Cipro?
Is cipro related to doxycycline? I am taking bactrim and cipro for cellulitis in my left great toe. I take 30 mg of celexa. I just came down with a fever and the shakes and aching in my knees and ankles. I am concerned that I am having a reaction. Thoughts?
Hi Went through your post as you have mentioned that you are taking ciprofloxacin and Bactrim, and want to know weather ciprofloxacin is related to doxycycline, I assure you that the two drugs are entirely different with no similarities except both being antibiotics, However allergic reaction can be caused by any drug even if you haven't allergy to such drug in past. There is possibility of allergic reaction to the drug or the chills could be primarily due to your cellulitis. Regards.
