What Causes Fever And Diarrhea In An Infant?
Hello Doctor. My Son is 17months old. From yesterday morning he is suffering from fever and today morning kid is having loose motion. Now fever came down from 102.1 to 100.7. Can we give ondansetrin oral solution IP syrup for controlling loose motion. Please suggest us Kind Regards, Srini

If a similar patient comes to my OPD, I would suggest you give ORS sachets with hot water which is cooled, zinc syrup and paracetamol syrup. as you have not mentioned the weight of kid I cannot tell you the dosage.
Ondansetron is for vomiting so it's not the recommended medication. hope your kid will get well soon.
