What Causes Fever And Excessive Hunger After Taking Luprodex Injection?

My wife undergone cyst surgery six months back ,where the right ovary was removed along with that. Last week she had severe stomach pain during her periods time. We went for scan and came to know choc cyst of 4.3cm existing in right side . Doctor suggested us to go for luprodex injection for three times on every month. My wife had an injection on two days back now feeling fever and more hungry. Can you please advise us injection is appropriate or any other remedies

Hello,

* The Luprodex injection contains Luprolide acetate used for control of various conditions as endometriosis, fibroid uterus and ovarian cysts as well.

* There are number of side effects of Luprodex as

- skin rashes and hypersensitivity
- flushing of skin and body
- breathing problems
- lethargy or agitation
- headache
- GI upset
- raised temperature and fever feeling
- altered appetite ( increased most of the times )
- others

It is best recommended not to consume further dose before advise of your doc. Alternate medicines are beyond scope of this platform for this query.
