What Causes Fever And Fatigue After Having Food?

It seems right after I eat, I feel fever come on & become VERY tired. I usually get thru a day with 5-6 hours sleep, very energetic and suddenly my energy level has gone haywire. I had a stomach bug for nearly 5 days and have had the fever issues & many other issues now for 3 weeks. I ve had 4-5 mosquito bites, no ticks found and put alcohol on bites as I get them ? I can NOT get back to where I once was.

Hi,

The symptoms suggest 2 possible causes:

1. a possible postdrome period to the infection. You will need to focus on fluid and electrolyte intake and take rest.

2. possibly you are developing a nerve related problem which needs an urgent neurological evaluation and examination called GB syndrome. This would need urgent hospitalization and treatment.

I would recommend meeting you local GP to check your power and reflexes. If these are normal, you may just need fluid and electrolyte correction. If abnormal, you will need hospitalization.

Hope I have answered your query.
