What Causes Fever And Hot Flushes In An Elderly Person?
Hi my name is Julie I am emailing you on behalf of my husband who has been suffering from hay fever very badly this spring here in Melbourne Victoria Australia (not sure where you are) he has been taking antihystermene for it Claratime I think it is called but he is suffering from hot flushes especially to his face and tongue and prickly heat when in bed. He only takes a small doze of blood pressure tablet (he has been taking it for over l year) he has amazing health for his age (due to good genes!!!!) he is 85 years old and exercises daily swimming, bike riding and walking (I can t keep up with him!!!!!) He is getting rather depressed because of this problem what can he do about it??? Every Dr he has seen has no answer to it.. Is it because of the bad hay season here. I look forward to your reply Kind regards Julie
you need to visit a doctor soon but the time you are at home you can do the basics as you have already given medicine along with that you should do the cold water strips and monitor the temperature till you visit the doctor.you might feel the temp is controlled for sometime but it comes back again, need to look for signs and symptoms and see if there is any viral or bacterial infection that is leading to it
