What do I do if I think my 3yr.old has gingivostomatitis? he has had fever 103.7 and his gums are inflamed and super red. Took him to the ER and they said it was a virus. Is there any home remedies that I can try to see if it helps him or makes him more confortable? Thank You, Stephanie Walker
hi Stephanie Walker, i am feeling sorry for you. yes it may be due to viral infection. all that you can do for her is just maintain the oral hygiene by any mouth wash and for fever more than 100*F you can give syrup paracetamol according to age.it's an self limiting disease.
