What Causes Fever And Loose Motion After Taking LUPI-HCG Injection?

My friend was pregnant , at about 7 weeks doctor told her that baby s growth was not normal and gave her injection lopi Hcg 5000 I U . After that she got fever and and loose motion . On 14th week again ultrasound was done and it shows that baby is no more. Is it due to the injection???
