Hi

Generally post any operation the patient is susceptible to infections

Have the dressings done to the wound regularly as prescribed the treating doctor

keep your mother's body in hygienic condition. If the fever does not subside within one day and based on the culture report then it is better to go for broad spectrum antibiotics

Use a warm pack

Move regularly
Physical immobility is a major factor causing slowed gut motility and gas after a hysterectomy

Avoid eating gas producing foods
onion, garlic, oats, potatoes etc

Peppermint promotes gut motility and can be useful in alleviating post hysterectomy gas pain. Drinking peppermint tea can provide relief from wind pain

Let her do meditation if possible for one hour

Wish Your Mom Good Health
