What Causes Fever And Protein In Urine While On A Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt?

my daughter is 16 has a vp shunt, she had a fever for 4 days that resolved on its own, bld test and urine came back and urine had high protien and blood and ferritin was 84. today her neck has swollen and ultrasound for neck is showing right cervical lymphadenopathy, reactive lymph nodes. could this be a shunt infection starting?

hi madam all the above mentioned symptoms go in favour of shunt infection.please dont delay any more and take the consultation of the surgeon who performed the shunt.if he/she is unavailable,consult a physician atleast.do not neglect.take care.bye.
