What Causes Fever And Weakness In An Elderly Person?

My mother is 87, she is feeling unwell. She is talking but says she is feeling weak. She ate about 7 hours ago but felt tired and weak a few hours later. My father called me about 3 hours ago and she felt cold and clammy and her temperature was about 35.6, should I be concerned?

Hello,

Yes, I would be concerned.
Old people do not have the immune system that young people do so their bodies may not exhibit all the features of an illness.
Even with such vague symptoms, I would advise you to take her to hospital soon.

All the best.
