What Causes Fever, Diarrhea And Red Pin Prick Marks On Legs?

My father has had fever and diarrhoea for 11 days. Whatever he eats comes straight out. He has lost about a stone during this period and he is very weak in energy and sometimes struggles to catch his breath after coughing. This morning we have noticed red pin prick marks covering his legs, currently these are no where else.
I urgently want him to seek medical advice. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi

Thanks for posting your query.

He is having infection of stomach which is making him to vomit. It's better to take him to hospital and admit him as he seem to be in dehydration.

Once you admit him the doctors will give certain injections which will suppress vomiting so that he can eat food and retain it . Also he will be given IV fluids which will correct his dehydration.

Kindly take him to hospital at the earliest

Hope you find this information useful.
Any clarification feel free to ask.
