What Causes Fever, Diarrhea, Vomiting And Abdominal Pain In An Elderly Person?

My husband is having stomach problems. 3 days ago he was throwing up and had diareahh and a slight fever. Since then when he try s to eat anything he gets an upset stomach and goes to the bathroom thinking he is going to move his bowels. He is 78 and has had radiation for prostate cancer. What should we do?

You should go to the Emergency room. He could have a condition known as radiation colitis and given his age he could get dehydrated very quickly. He should be evaluated immediately and have laboratory testing and CT scan of the abdomen.
