What Causes Fever, Headaches, Hot Flashes And Abdominal Pain After Accident?
3 years ago my husband had a motorcycle accident and was in ICU for 3 months. He underwent many surgeries. 6 days ago he developed a 101-102 degree fever that doesn't seem to reduce with over Tylenol. He describes his headache as "the worst I've ever had" (he doesn't get headaches normally) He has severe temperature changes (freezing cooled to massive sweating) that keeps him from sleeping. This morning he complained of sharp pains on the left side of his abdomen. We have a doctors appointment Tuesday evening. Do I need to get him into the emergency room or can we wait until Tuesday?

fever ncannot be related to old injury. present history indicate urinary tract infection. microscopic examination of urine may be done. along with hemogram and blood for mp may be done. diagnosis of fever can be done with these investigation.
