What Causes Fever Inspite Of Taking Zithromax?
My daughter has a fever for going on 14 days. She was put on Zithromax and just needed her dosage yesterday. The temps were 99 a 99.5 yesterday but back to 101.5 and they have ranged from 103.6 / 100 most days... First dr apt diagnosis switch viral.. Then bronchitis has I had it and thought my germs went to her which is what the Zithromax was prescribed. What else can i do?

Hi,
Having fever since too much days requires some investigations to conclude diagnosis of having fever.
She might require,
1, complete blood checking including MP, ESR,
2, S.Widal test for typhoid
3, urine routine and micriscopic
4,X-ray chest.
Consult physician and get invstigated.
After proper diagnosis plan of treatment can be decided.
Give her plenty of water and light diet.
Ok and take care.
