What Causes Fever, Left-sided Abdominal Pain And Constipation?

My 25 year old daughter has had a temp for 2 days getting up to 104 degrees. It s 102 now but she has shooting pains on her left side. We have been giving her Tylenol and Motrin alternating every 2 hours. The pain has me concerned. Her fever broke last night and she was good for the first part of today. She has not had a bowel movement for 2 days and she is throwing up does. She need to go to emergency room?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think this would be safer to take her to the ER. This high temperature along with pain in tummy need considerations to rule out gut infection or kidney infections. So better to take her to the ER.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
