What Causes Fever, Nausea And Uneven Dilation Of Pupils Post Cat Bite?

My niece was bitten by a neighbor s cat, on her calf, yesterday. Today has high fever, nausea, and uneven pupils. Has been admitted to ER and put on IV antibiotic . Tests were neg for quick strep and UTI. Concerned with uneven pupils. Do you know possibilities of what could cause this?
