What Causes Fever, Nausea, Diarrhea And Upper Middle Abdominal Pain?
I m female,age 25 and for the past five days I ve had upper middle abdominal pain and diarrhea and starred running a low fever (101 and under). The abdominal pain is pretty bad and almost feels like contractions right between my ribs with pain in my back. We ll today I haven t has any more diarrhea but my belly has felt full and about an hour ago I started feeling nauseated and the pain came back and fever. There is a bad stomach virus going around so could this be all it is?

The narrated symptoms of pain in mid abdomen, nausea, fever and diarrhea do indicate severe intestine infection through some sort of bacteria as salmonella or else most likely. My guidelines at present:
- Drink more liquids in sessions including oral rehydration salt
- Anti emetic medication as ondancetron on empty stomach
- Proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole or lanzoprazole on empty stomach
- GI specific antibiotic prescription as metronidazole, rifaximin or else
- Pre and pro biotics with lacto bacillus content
- Anti spasmodic as dicyclomine or drotaverine tablet after meals
Many of the medications will require doc prescription and hence a visit to your primary care is mandatory here.
