What Causes Fever, Stuffy Nose And Pain In Hip And Leg In A Child?
Hi.My son is 4 and a half years old and is running a high fever(104.2). He says his hip and legs were hurting doing the day. He does not have a cough,but he says his nose is stuffy. Does he have the flu? Do I need to schedule an appointment with his doctor? What about the pain in his hip and legs? Thanks

Hi,
This is common symptom of having leg and back pain during fever or any viral infection.
Give him paracetamol as and when required for pain and pain.
Give plenty of water and keep him well hydrated.
Give him complete rest.
