What Causes Fever, Swelling In Neck And Headache On The Left Side?
HI, i work at a day care so always around people, I went to clinic before fever started. my neck a was lightly swollen on left side had headache. they did a strep test i think said to go home they could not see any thing wrong, that night got fever so returned to doctor s yesterday. My regular doctor close shop cause of family tragedy. I explained that after a short while on fever med i develop hard hives so he normally give me an antibiotic and does follow up. They still sent me home, saying they don t know exactly what is causing the fever. Am switching back and forth between motrin and tyleno. Drinking pedialite and water gatorade. eating some
Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection. I suggest continuing using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
I also suggest to rest and drink liquids. I recommend to eat a healthy diet and gargle with saltwater. If the symptoms continue, I suggest seeing your gp for a physical examination.
