What Causes Fever, Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Baby While Teething?
My daughter is 7 months old, she is teething and having fever and vomittings and diarhheao. She isn t taking any semi solid, even before teething she don t take any food happily and also takes less milk, what s the reason behind, how can I help her to eat
Thanks for your query . The symptoms you mention in query are very common at this stage of life . These symptoms occur due to two reasons - Firstly the immunity which a baby recieved from mother through plecenta get diminish by this time
- Secondly the newly developing baby's own immunity is very susceptible to even to minor infection .
These two reasons are responsible for symptoms you mention . Diarrhea and vomiting can occur due to excessive production of saliva during teething ,but it can also be a sign of more serious infection. In this case preventing baby from dehydration is most important thing.
So i would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination and treatment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
