thank you for your query
I completely understand your concern.
I would like to clarify a few things.
1)did she travel anywhere in the past six months?
2) were any blood tests done? If so, what were her
bilirubin and liver enzyme level, any other abnormal blood results?
3) what Elisa test was done? For which organism?
4)did she have any undercooked red meat or have contact with animal feces?
5)any
CT scan or MRI for abdomen donedone?
6)were her kidney function test alright?
7)was the ascetic fluid tested?
Right now, she is being treated for
tuberculosis which could be causing these symptoms.
Hydrated disease,
liver abscess needs to be ruled out.
Ascites is a sign which shows that there could be damage to the liver and stasis of blood flow.
I recommend an MRIof the abdomen and blood work to check for liver, kidney functions, and signs of infections. Testing the ascitic fluid will also help to pinpoint diagnosis which will help to accurately treat her.
Testing of
antibodies to tuberculosis bacteria can show if that is the cause. A
pediatrician, infectious disease specialist, and a gastroenterology the opinion will help
Hope I've helped
