What Causes Fever While On Treatment For CML?
my wife is a patient of CML since 2003.was on interferron for 3 months and then on gleevac for next 6 yeras.now she is on AMN107 for last 1 year. she gets fever on and off. is it a reaction to medicine?or is it because of some other exising condition?we have done all tests with all specialists no reason for fever could be found.

Well come to HCM
In history of CML such symptoms of fever is common and this need to be only treated when body temperature goes beyond the 100 F, difficult to find out the exact cause of fever unless some common cause is there like viral infection, malaria some other bacterial infections, hope this information helps.
