What Causes Fever With Cold And Shivering Persistently?
hello sir my name is vanita i m basically taking to frm mumbai sir i m having fever from last three days very high level cold shivering i went for my family physician he recommended me for malarial parasite test but in the test was negative till now i m felling very cold what can i do pls give me advise
Hello there, I can understand your concern. Now that your malarial parasite test has come back negative you need to go back to your family physician as you can be prescribed some antibiotics based on any other suspected infections based on the physical exam that your doctor did. This could be a simple viral infection which may subside in 3-4 days with symptomatic therapy also. However do not ignore and do take your report back to your physician as the necessary steps can be taken. If there is any suspicion of any other infection like typhoid or dengue then you may need more tests. All the tests depend on the findings of physical exam. Drink lots of water and try to take the fever medicines that your doctor may have prescribed for you. Take care.
