Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

High grade fever, severe body pain and leg pain with leukopenia is most commonly caused by a viral fever. Especially we have to rule out dengue fever. This needs absolute bed rest, adequate fluid intake and soft diet for few days. Kindly take him to doctor if not already. We need few more blood tests to confirm diagnosis and may need intravenous fluids and other supportive measures.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
